Zamboni Driver

SUMMARY
The responsibilities of this position include cleaning the ice surface according to the daily schedule, as well as helping renters as needed. In addition, some basic maintenance. The primary hours of this position may include nights, weekends, and holidays.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capably operate the Zamboni machine.
  • Read the and record the metrics from compressors and other machinery that maintain the arena.
  • Put down, take out, maintain and repair a quality ice surface.
  • Open and close the Arena.
  • Assist the people using the Arena when necessary.
  • See to the repair of any breakage or damages that occur in the Arena, that are of an emergency nature.
  • Assist in Keeping the Arena clean, especially in circumstances that not doing so would reflect badly on the general impression of the rink to a visitor.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Must be 18+ years old to apply.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED.
CERTIFICATES, LISCENSES AND REGISTRATIONS • Valid driver's license required

Custodial Attendant

The Custodial Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the ice rink. This position performs routine cleaning, sanitation, and facility maintenance tasks to ensure the comfort and safety of guests, athletes, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced recreational environment.

Custodial Attendant Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, spectator areas, offices, and common spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean windows, doors, railings, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Restock restroom and janitorial supplies.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of special events, hockey games, skating sessions, and tournaments.
  • Monitor facility cleanliness during public skating sessions and events.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Operate custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and cleaning tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with snow, ice, or weather-related cleanup around entrances and walkways when necessary.
  • Follow all safety procedures, facility policies, and cleaning standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Customer Experience Manager

The Customer Experience Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks during their shift. The team member will provide superior customer service to guests at all times by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while adhering to Company Policies, Procedures, and Best Practices.


1. Customer Management

-Field and respond to general customer inquiries and questions.

-Work with General Manager to strategically schedule public programming to maximize ice optimization.

-Engage in excellent face to face customer service to all customers.

-Provide consistent communication regarding program schedule updates and opportunities via email or through our social media team.

2. Front Desk Management

-Cultivate a positive and upbeat environment for staff and customers.

-Strategically schedule front desk staff based on programming and arena schedule.

-Ensure front desk area is clean and presentable.

-Manage rental skate inventory and sharpening on a schedule and as needed.

3. Public Programming Leadership

-Plan, schedule, and execute themed public skating sessions throughout the year.

-Manage birthday party inquiries through the booking and execution process.

-Engage customers before/during/after programming to spread awareness of skating, hockey, and party opportunities.

-Prospect community groups and areas to initiate new program development and growth.

-Attend community events as rink representative by request/approval of GM.

4. Arena Management

-Work as manager on duty of the facility as scheduled by your GM.

-Provide assistance to GM in collecting, sorting, and submitting invoices.

-Assist all part time staff when designated as manager on duty.

-Collaborate with GM and FM to find solutions to day-to-day rink conflicts. Remain on call for issues.

5. Staffing/Human Resources

--Recruit, hire, train, and manage front desk, skate guard, and other part time staff.

-Assist GM with payroll processing.

6. Miscellaneous

-Support all rink operations assigned by upper management.
